Total 4 companies in the Hitachi Transport System Group obtain Privacy Mark certification

Hitachi Auto Service Co., Ltd., which is doing automobile sales-related business in the Hitachi Transport System Group, has obtained Privacy Mark certification by the Japan Information Processing Development Corporation (JIPDEC) as of May 29. It evaluates and certifies that business operators' handling and management of personal information complies with the requirements.
In addition to Hitachi Transport System, Ltd. (certified in April 2007), Hitachi Distribution Software Co., Ltd. (certified in July 2006), and Hitachi Travel Bureau, Ltd. (certified in April 2007), the number of certified companies in the Hitachi Transport System Group has totaled 4.
