We established the "Environmental Protection Center" in August 1992 as a full-time environmental committee based at the head office, and have since promoted measures such as the prevention of environmental pollution.
The department, now called "Environmental Policy Department," continues to strengthen Hitachi Transport System Group's environmental management policies.
